Cognia Accreditation: A New Step Forward for Prepa Anáhuac Querétaro

What does it mean to study at a high school committed to evaluating and improving its educational quality according to international standards? 

At Prepa Anáhuac Querétaro, we are taking an important step forward in our continuous improvement journey. During the Cognia Latin American Conference in Ecuador, our Director, Fr. Joseph Valencia, L.C., and Professor Dan Castillo represented our school community while learning about new standards, evaluation practices, and academic strategies. 

The experience also marked an important moment for our school: in the next accreditation cycle, Prepa Anáhuac Querétaro will undergo its own independent Cognia evaluation, separate from Cumbres International School Querétaro. 

What is Cognia? 

Cognia is an international organization focused on accreditation and continuous improvement in education. It works with schools and educational systems around the world to help them evaluate their performance and identify opportunities for growth. 

Its accreditation process considers different aspects of the educational experience, including learning culture, leadership, student engagement, and academic growth.

This represents an important opportunity for Prepa Anáhuac Querétaro to strengthen its institutional identity and evaluate its progress through a process focused specifically on its students, educational practices, and school community. 

During the conference in Ecuador, our representatives also had the opportunity to connect with educational leaders and explore practices that can contribute to this next stage. 

The goal goes beyond maintaining recognition. It is about continuing to improve the way we teach, guide, and prepare our students for their future.
